Organic Farming
BIGGI Family Project (BFP) was conceived over two decades ago, in 2002, with the passion of enabling communities, especially the chronically ill and abject poor, to access nature friendly herbal remedies and healthier foods.
Several communities have since been inducted in the cultivation of a variety of organic fruits and foods, which they not only add to their own diets, but also send surpluses of to market as a supplementary source of income.
We now have demonstration farms in the areas of Pakwach and Wakiso districts, on which we conduct quarterly workshops.
